Live music for your corporate event
Benga Band is a live party band from Amsterdam for company parties, office parties, end of year parties, Christmas parties, anniversaries and galas. We play funk, soul, disco, Latin, pop and Dutch sing-alongs, in 2 to 3 sets of 45 minutes, with our own sound, lighting and technician. A night with the full band starts from 3,000 EUR.
A company party is not a wedding and not a club. The room holds interns and the board, Dutch and international colleagues, people who dance straight away and people who need a drink first. Benga plays softer during drinks and dinner, leaves room for speeches, and turns the energy up the moment the room is ready for it.
The musicians come from Mexico, Croatia, Serbia, Chile, Cuba, Israel and the Netherlands, all based in and around Amsterdam. From the first question to the last set you deal with Noam, the bandleader, not a middleman.

Five nights, five very different rooms. From a hotel ballroom to an industrial hall and a museum with a glass roof: this is what a company party with Benga looks like.
A night for Sedgwick in Rotterdam: chandeliers, a full room of colleagues and a band that opened with soul at the drinks and finished with the whole room on the dance floor. Singer, trumpet, guitar, bass, keys and drums, with our own sound and lighting.
Under the glass roof of the courtyard of Het Scheepvaartmuseum, the National Maritime Museum in Amsterdam, Benga played for Deloitte. A corporate event in a monumental space, with a set that started in daylight and ran into the night.
For JBL we played the Westergasfabriek in Amsterdam. A brand that lives on sound, so the bar was high: a tight show, a floor that stayed full and a band that moved with the crowd.
A company party at an NH Hotel: a stage, an LED dance floor and a room that joined in from the first song. This is what a hotel ballroom looks like when the band brings its own production.
The Kromhouthal in Amsterdam Noord is an industrial hall with a big stage and a lot of space. Exactly the kind of room where a party band with full production and moving lights comes into its own.
How the night runs
Most company parties follow the same shape: guests arrive, there are drinks or dinner, someone from the board speaks, and then the party has to start. Each of those moments asks something different from the music.
Benga agrees the running order with you beforehand, and with your venue and event agency if you have them. So the band knows when the speeches are, when the room opens and when the floor can fill up.
A typical evening:
You do not need to hire a separate sound company for the music: the band brings its own sound, lighting and a technician.

Why Benga for your corporate event
What a company party needs, and what Benga brings.
Internationally active musicians who regularly play big stages, clubs and festivals across Europe.
Sound, lighting, technician, set-up and soundcheck. Speeches can run through the same system.
Noam, the bandleader, arranges the music with you, your venue and your event agency.
For every corporate event
The party for the whole team, from summer party to anniversary, with a full dance floor.
The busiest month of the year. Book early, the Fridays in December go first.
Stylish during dinner and the awards, then a party that matches the night.
Live music for brands and client events, like JBL at the Westergasfabriek.
A smaller line-up or an acoustic set for drinks, at conversation level.
Big stages too, like the Gashouder and King's Day in Utrecht.
Possible line-ups
From a tight 4-piece to a full-blown 6-piece show with horns and extra vocals. Plus a DJ set with live drums to keep the night going.
Compact
Lead vocals, keys, bass and drums. Tight, powerful, and more than enough to fill the dance floor.
Best for: Intimate weddings and smaller corporate events.
Our favourite
4-piece plus a guitar, sax, trumpet or extra vocals. More dynamic, more colour, more punch.
Best for: Weddings and corporate events with 80 to 200 guests.
Full show
Full line-up with horns and double vocals. Festival energy with the production of a headline act.
Best for: Galas, larger weddings and showcase events.
Add-on
Our DJ takes over when the band breaks, with live drums and percussion on top. The night doesn't stop.
Best for: Usually deep into the night, after the band's show.

Noam and his young, talented band, including Emma on vocals, made our party fun and fabulous from start to finish. People who don't normally dance just couldn't stop themselves! Great choice of tunes and loads of energy. Am so grateful and …

Booking and price
A night with Benga Band starts from 3,000 EUR. That includes the performance in 2 to 3 sets of 45 minutes, our own sound and lighting, a technician, set-up and soundcheck. The final price depends on the line-up, the length of the night and the venue. Fill in the form with your date and venue and you get a price that fits.
Everything the live show needs: full sound and lighting, our own AV team, the musical preparation and coordination with your venue. You do not need a separate sound supplier for the music.
Fill in the form with the date, the venue and the number of guests. You will quickly hear whether we are free and what it costs. Then we agree the running order, speeches, set-up and finishing time with you and your venue.
The earlier the better. For a Christmas or end of year party in December, book in September or earlier, because the Fridays and Saturdays in the peak weeks go first. For other dates three to six months ahead is usually enough. If your date is closer, send it anyway and we will tell you straight away.
We play all week and our prices are the same all year, December included. A weekday evening is often easier to get, though.
Yes. You get a business invoice with VAT, and we add your purchase order number or cost centre if you send it.
Music
Funk, soul, disco, Latin, pop and Dutch sing-alongs. Songs everyone knows, from the youngest colleague to the board. After you fill in the form we send our full repertoire list.
Yes. We tune the setlist to your audience. Want a company anthem, a song for someone celebrating a work anniversary, or no songs by a certain artist, let us know and we adjust it.
Yes. The band is made up of international musicians and sings in English and Dutch, plus a few songs in Spanish. On stage we speak English, Dutch or both, whatever suits your team.
Yes. We play a softer set at conversation level during drinks and dinner and bring the energy up later in the evening.
The evening
Usually 2 to 3 sets of 45 minutes, with breaks of 15 to 20 minutes. During the breaks music runs through our own sound system, or through our DJ if you book one.
A band turns the party into a moment colleagues still talk about later, a DJ keeps the floor full without breaks. With Benga you do not have to choose: the band plays the peak of the night and our DJ with live drums takes over after.
Yes. We agree the running order in advance, stay quiet during speeches and can play a walk-on or short jingle. Speakers can use our sound system.
Usually 4 by 4 or 4 by 5 metres is enough for the full band. Beyond that we need power, a dressing room and food for the crew.
The band plays all kinds of rooms, from hotel ballrooms to industrial halls. Send us the sound limit of your venue and we match the line-up and the sound to it.
The band
Benga plays as a 4-piece, 5-piece or 6-piece with horns and extra vocals, with a DJ with live drums as an add-on. The equipment is built for 500 or more guests. Which line-up fits depends on your room and the number of colleagues.
We work with a strong group of top level musicians, all international artists living around Amsterdam. If someone drops out, a regular stand-in takes over and the show goes on at the same level.
Practical
Yes. We play all over the Netherlands, from Amsterdam and Rotterdam to Utrecht and The Hague, and we have also played in Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Spain, the United Kingdom and the Maldives. Travel costs are listed separately in the quote.
Yes, the band is insured.
